Tick, Tick, Tick, Helado, and Wrapped Diapers

Today the clock started officially ticking. We had our ICBF appointment this morning, which formally starts the process of Becky coming home with Max. Sweet!!

The interview went well, and was pretty unenventful. In fact, I think the interview itself lasted only about 10 minutes, after a one hour wait to meet with them. Another check mark in the box, and another step to Beck coming home for Christmas. I was going to take a picture of the ICBF office (it's in a new place from where we've been before), but when we got there I realized I didn't pack the camera. Sorry.

After we returned home, we decided to run errands. La Carulla (grocery store), the bank, the park, and then...

You got that right- Crepes and Waffles!! 11,700 pesos (roughly $5.50 USD) for 3 waffle cones with 2 scoops each. Yahtzee!! We love this place, and although it was just before lunch, we still went. Sometimes you need to do things like this as a family, and we certainly enjoy every time we go.

The last thing for today is Wrapped Diapers. Doesn't sound like anything exciting, and it's really not. But I feel guilty for not including a 3rd point yesterday, so here it is. We bought some diapers at La Carulla for Max, and found out the each one had these cellophane wrappers on them. So I enlisted Ally and Will tonight, and we ripped them all off:

Afterward, I somehow was mauled by my two oldest. I gotta say, it never gets old. My kids rock:

Tomorrow the plan is to go to a cool park for kids. The best part is, I get to drive again, like last time we were here. John, if you want to drive Tia Isabel's car again, better get your paperwork going. After tomorrow, I'll be up 2-1 on you. Let's see if you dare come back. :)

Anyway (sorry for the sidetrack), a few more days and Will and I will be heading home. I'm teaching Beck tomorrow night how to blog and upload pics, so look for her incredible writing skills come Sunday. She's amazing at writing, and an even more amazing mom to her 3 kiddos.

Hasta MaƱana-

Scott, Becky, Ally, Will, and Max
